F.A.Q.

  • How was the app developed?

The exercises were designed by Jade's scientific and educational staff. They took into account the learning competencies outlined in the National Common Curriculum, teaching methodologies for neurodivergent children, and the impact of these activities on students, adapting them to their cognitive needs.

The main methodology used is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which consists of a set of techniques aimed at expanding a child's behavioral repertoire, such as Matching to Sample (MTS) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).

From this point on, all activities progress from simple to complex, gradually increasing in difficulty. This allows the user to develop individual relationships and arbitrary relationships between stimuli and learning.

  • What age group is the app recommended for?

The Jade App is recommended for children and adolescents aged 3 to 11 years.

  • How often should the student use Jade App?

We recommend using the app three times a week, for 15 to 30 minutes per session.

Remember: at any age, technology has its benefits, but it should be used in moderation. Screen time is not recommended for children under 18 months of age.

  • In which languages is the app available?

    English and Portuguese.

  • Is the platform recommended only for autistic children?

No, the Jade App is recommended for neurodivergent children diagnosed with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Dyscalculia, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, and Dyslexia. It’s also great for children with other learning challenges, as the app helps develop attention, mental flexibility, auditory memory, impulse control, logical reasoning, emotional recognition, and processing speed.

  • Why create an app for neurodivergent children?

Because we exist to ensure that no child is left behind in their development, especially those who face learning challenges. There is still a significant gap between what science knows about cognitive development and what actually reaches schools and families. That’s why we use technology to support the development of these children, who often lack inclusive learning spaces, teaching plans, and games that respect their individuality and help them grow.
